'How often to do celebrities really wash their hair?"

Curious as to how often you should wash your hair?

Our faves over at Beauty Heaven were just as curious.  Celebrities have experts at their beck and call, so who better to look to for a little guidance on what's what when it comes to hair washing routines...

Kim Kardashian

Kim revealed "We start out with a blowout on day one, then we go to a messier vibe the next day, and then we flat iron it and do a really sleek look on day three since that requires a little oil in the hair. Day four could be a slicked-back ponytail, and on the fifth day is when you wash it."

Louvelle recommends their Shower Turbans, RRP $45, to fight frizz and look chic between washes.

Cindy Crawford

Cindy confesses she only washes her hair two or three times a week. "I have a blow dryer and I will get blowouts, but it can break easier so I learned how to make it last for three days - I pin it up when I sleep or I will pin it up when I work out."

Louvelle's Seraphine Headbands, RRP $20 for are ideal to sweep hair off your face while at the gym, poolside or to accessorize second day hair.

Alexa Chung

"I wash it every day because I have to - it gets so greasy. But then I just literally tuck it behind my ears and wait for it to dry"

We recommend air-drying your hair with a good quality microfibre hair towel, like our Riva Hair Towel Wraps, RRP$36. Plus you'll look tres chic.
