Trending: Newest Hair Looks

Here are hair experts reveal of the latest hair trends.

Whether it's a dramatic cut or bold colour transformations exploring new hairstyles is incredibly refreshing. This year's most prominent hair trends cater to all preferences, ranging from layered haircuts and elegant updos to vibrant red hair hues and wavy bobs.

1. Soft Brushed Blonde 👱🏼‍♀️

Renowned hairstylist Lauren Mildice predicts that this season, celebrities will favor a gentle, understated blonde tone, as exemplified by Sydney Sweeney. "Spring calls for a more subdued approach to hair color," she explains. Mildice advises requesting a delicate, sun-kissed 'sombré' effect, commencing with a light brown shade at the roots that gradually transitions to soft blonde tips. She emphasizes the importance of communicating to your colorist the desire for dimension throughout the mid-lengths to ends to achieve a seamless blend.

2. Blue-Toned Red Hair Colours 💋

From Becky G (below), to Dove Cameron, Dua Lipa, and Garcelle Beauvais, a multitude of celebrities are embracing the trend of transitioning to a striking ruby hue. According to hairstylist Renée Valerie, this trend is on the rise. She explains that this vibrant shade offers both depth and warmth to your hair colour, steering away from the conventional ginger spice tones that have dominated trends in recent years.

3. Side-Swept Bangs

If you're yearning for a change without sacrificing significant length, consider embracing bangs. Anticipate witnessing bangs of all varieties—ranging in shapes and sizes—with a notable emphasis on side-swept styles. Indeed, the side part is poised for a resurgence. "It frames the face beautifully, accentuating the cheekbones," Dion affirms.

4. The Baroque Bob

Bid farewell to the era of shaggy, choppy bobs—2024 heralds the return of chic bobs, as epitomized by Zendaya's latest look. The "baroque bob" characterizes a rounded, gently cascading haircut that elegantly grazes just above the shoulders. However, its moniker is derived from its styling—typically featuring voluminous, softly sculpted waves.
